Solution Architect
Leading Identity & Access Management solution provider in Zurich with a cutting edge approach
to the market is looking to bring on a Solution Architect. The candidate should be heavily
motivated by both the product and the technology stack. To be effective in this position, you
must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to
completion.
They are looking for either someone how has started working as a Solution Architect or a Senior
Engineer looking to move into the space of Solution Architecture.
Responsibilities
- You would support in identifying and realizing the benefits of specific digital and
automation such as agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Assist in the delivery of their technology strategy.
- Support the definition of architecture artifacts, guardrails, and technical implementation
guidelines .
- Define the detailed platform architecture for full-stack solutions.
- Review and provide recommendations on platform architecture and microservices.
- Support the delivery of integration technologies, APIs, etc.
- Be aware of and able to innovatively respond to the differing compliance, risk, and
regulatory controls.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 5+ years of broad engineering experience and executive-level presence.
- 2+ years of experience as the lead technologist/architect .
- Strong experience in Java programming.
- Hands-on technology experience that includes: Java, Javascript, SQL, NoSQL, TypeScript,
Docker, React, Test automation tooling, CI/CD pipeline tools, AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
- Technical knowledge of Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
- Knowledge of dealing with cloud services including cloud security (AWS, AZURE, others).
- Knowledge of the Semantic technologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager & KVM.
- Knowledge of Engineered Systems like Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA), Hitachi Unified
Computing Platform (UCP).
- Knowledge DNS, DHCP, and scripting languages (PowerShell).
- System Technic Know-How of Server, Storage, Network, SAN, VLAN.
- Experience mentoring/training the engineering community on complex technical issues.
- Internal or external consultancy experience with multiple partners and priorities.
- Experience in integration of internal/ external and front to back office technologies incl.
on-premise and cloud environments.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
